I thought I'd punch up the dreariness of this Covid-19 Summer of 2020 with a groovy summer song, Grandparents On the Beach. It's a warning to all of us older folks to stop spoiling the view on the beach and to cover up that old saggy skin. Nobody wants to see that, not even from a legendary country music cowboy like me. I guess I could get away with it, but most old people need to cover up at the beach, not only to prevent skin cancer, but also to stop grossing out the youngsters.
So, seniors, you've been warned! Take Grandparents On the Beach to heart. Cover up until you're about to get into some deep water. Then, jump in quick and you can pretend it's the Summer of '63 and you're just as cool as all the hep cats and beatniks.
